THE LAW FULFILLED!!

Now, there were so many prophecies fulfilled by Jesus, begining at His birth all the way to His death on the cross and beyond. I don't think I'm going to be able to list them all. I just want to list some of them that I know of and I will add to this list as I learn more. I am a student in the Word, by no means do I know it all! This study is for me and of course for you too if you wish.
I will start at the begining:
- MICAH 5:2-5 "But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from old, from ancient times. Therefore Israel will be abandoned until the time when she who is in labor gives birth and the rest of his brothers return to join the Israelites. He will stand and shepherd his flock in the strength of the Lord, in the majesty of the name of the Lord his God. And they will live securely, for then his greatness will reach to the ends of the earth. And he will be their peace."
- MATTHEW 2:1-2 "After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, durring the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, 'Where is the one who was has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to worship him.'"
- ISAIAH 7:14 "Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and we will call Him Immanuel."
- LUKE 1:26-33 "In the sixth month, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin's name was Mary. The angel went to her and said, 'Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.' Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. But the angel said to her, 'Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God. You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David, and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever; His kingdom will never end.'"
- ZECHARIAH 9:9 "Rejoice greatly, O Daughter of Zion! Shout, Daughter of Jerusalem! See, you king comes to you, righteous and having salvation, gentle and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey."
- MATTHEW 21:1-3 "As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage on the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples, saying, 'Go to the village ahead of you, and at once you will find a donkey tied there, with her colt by her. Untie them and bring them to me. If anyone says anything to you, tell them that the Lord needs them, and He will send them right away.'"

- JOHN 12:12-15 "The next day the geat crowd that had come for the feast heard that Jesus was on His way to Jerusalem. They took palm branches and went out to meet Him, shouting, 'Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Blessed is the King of Israel!' Jesus found a young donkey and sat upon it, as it is written, 'Do not be affraid, O Daughter of Zion; see, you king is coming, seated on a donkey's colt.'"
- PSALM 118:22-24 "The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone; the Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes. This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it."
- MATTHEW 26:3-5 "Then the chief priests and the elders of the people assembled in the palace of the high priest, whose name is Caiaphas, and they plotted to arrest Jesus in some sly way and kill Him. 'But not durring the Feast,' they said, 'or there may be a riot among the people."

- ACTS 4:8-12 "Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them: 'Rulers and elders of the people! If we are being called to account today for an act of kindness shown to a cripple and are asked how he was healed, then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed. He is the stone you builders rejected, which has become the capstone. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.'"
- PSALM 41:9 "Even my close friend, whom I trusted, he who shared my bread, has lifted up his heel against me."
- LUKE 22:47-48 "While He was still speaking a crowd came up, and the man who was called Judas, one of the Twelve, was leading them. He approached Jesus to kiss Him, but Jesus asked him, 'Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?'"

- PSALM 22:7-8 "All who see me mock me; they hurl insults, shaking their heads: 'He trusts in the Lord; let the Lord rescue him, since he delights in him.'"
- MATTHEW 27:39-44 "Those who passed by hurled insults at Him, shaking their heads and saying, 'You who are going to destroy the temple and build it in three days, save yourself! Come down from the cross, if you are the Son of God!" In the same way the chief priests, the teachers of the law and the elders mocked Him. 'He saved others,' they said,' but He can't save Himself! He's the King of Israel! Let Him come down now from the cross, and we will believe in Him. He trusts in God. Let God rescue Him now if He wants Him, for He said, 'I am the Son of God.' In the same way the robbers who were crucified with Him also heaped insults on Him."

- PSALM 22:14-18 "I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint. My heart has turned to wax; it has melted away within me. My strength is dried up like a potsherd, and my toungue sticks to the roof of my mouth; you lay me in the dust of death. Dogs have surrounded me; a ban of evil men has encircled me, they have pierced my hands and my feet. I can count all my bones; people stare and gloat over me. They divide my garments among them and cast lots for my clothing."
- MATTHEW 27:34-36 "There they offered Jesus wine to drink, mixed with gall; but after tasting it, He refused to drink it. When they had crucified Him, they divided up His clothes by casting lots. And sitting down, they kept watch over Him there."
- PSALM 16:10 "because you will not abandon me to the grave, nor will you let your Holy One see decay."
- MATTHEW 28:5-6 "The angel said to the women, 'Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here: He is risen, just as He said. Come and see the place where He lay.'"
- PSALM 110:1 "The Lord says to my Lord: 'Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.'"

- MARK 16:19-20 "After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, He was taken up into heaven and He sat at the right hand of God. Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed His word by the signs that accompanied it."
These are just the ones that I have found at this time. I am sure that you will find many more as you read the Word and talk with others that also study the bible. I want to place here the complete Isaiah chapter 53 for it speaks of Jesus' coming and what He will go through for all of us.
- ISAIAH 53 "Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him. He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and faniliar with suffering. Like one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he took our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before the shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth. By opression and judgment he was taken away. And who can speak of his descendants? For he was cut off from the living; for the transgressions of my people he was stricken. He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with the rich his death, though he had done no violence, no was any deceit in his mouth. Yet it was the Lord's will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the Lord makes his life a guilt offering, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand. After the suffering of his soul, he will see the light of life and be satisfied; by his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities. Therefore I will give him a portion among the great, and he will divide the spoils with the strong, because he poured out his life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors. For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors."
In Genesis God speaks of the coming of Jesus and how He will defeat the devil:
- GENESIS 3:14-15 "So the Lord God said to the serpent, 'Because you have done this, Cursed are you above all the livestock and all the wild animals! You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life. And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.'"
We know that a strike on the heel is not deadly, it hurts and can make us stumble. But a crushing of ones head is fatal. Satan tried repeatedly to stop Jesus from doing the work He was doing, I think it was surely because Satan knew that it would "crush" him if Jesus completed His task-providing salvation to all who would call on Jesus. And in the end...
- REVELATION 20:7-10 "When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth-Gog and Magog-to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore. They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God's people, the city He loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them. And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever."
